I have a new roller cam to install in a 360 strip/street motor.
232/242@.050, 510/525 lift w/1.5 RR. Rev to 6300
Cam maker suggested spring pressures of 160/450#.
I can get the 160# with the double springs I have, but am shy on the 450 open pressure.
Any comments on how low I could go before problems might occur - or is 450# the limit?
