Winter is fine here. Only 1 bilzzard. (Yeeaaaa!) Sending the wife to school (Collage for RN) and it's killing me. $6,000 last 2 semisters. Ouch! But, I'll be better off soon, not soon enuff. I can't help but saying, that was body work done on the car..ugh, LOL. Engine swap soon. Glass beeding front end parts while it's down and cold. K-frame blasted and epoxy coated. Big block complete on milk creates ready to bolt in w/tranny. Stock from donor '78 Cordoba.

A 400 smogger motor? We just looked after a customer with one of those, he cut the $hit out of the heads, use a .027 Cometic gasket. Jimmy at Racer Brown chiseled up a cam to build some cylinder pressure, stuck a 650 Speeder on it, FBO Ignition and distributor and it rips! He stuck it in a 76 Fury I think and used a 3.55 gear and Dynamic Dual Pattern convertor, claims it runs 12.90's, that's pretty good for a 400 in a 3800# car. I'd like to try and build up one of those 400's without stroking it, I think there's some good potential in that motor.
