I bought one of Don's systems last year for my Super Bee and it has performed very well! So well that I just purchased another FBO system for my Dad's 62 Dodge Polara 500. The motor is a 383 (62 block) that has the correct numbers dual quad intake and correct carburetors for a 343hp dual quad 383 which was a dealer installed 383 option in 1962. Now he did make it somewhat modified looking with the chrome and the repro max wedge manifolds and 3 inch TTI exhaust but it has turned out nice. The block has been zero decked and is running a true measured 10.21:1 compression ratio. The cam is comp cam 470 lift hydraulic and he is running a 3.91 gear set and a 2400 converter. Once we get the FBO ignition installed we plan to take it to the track for some fun! Here are some pics.. Enjoy! With new wheels and tires. 383 Dual Quad. Air Cleaners off. Clean Interior Stock wheels/hubcaps and a maxwedge exhaust!
