As expected the top guys from 2003 are still leading the field in the needle cars and Brandon will have to get over some jitters before moving into the top side of the field, maybe by Sunday he'll get back on target and get a few rounds in. Tony and the Army of 1 look tough and I doubt that anyone wil be able to better that night qualifying pass in the warmer ambiance of Pomona today...I give the #1 spot to the Army Boy's

Hey who is that masked man riding that Mustang?....why it's the Loooooone Son of Crew Chief John Medlen and Former rodeo star, back in the saddle only this time he's riding some real Horse Power....and 8 seconds is now a failure. New Rules, New Team, New Horse and maybe a new record....we'll see but as predicted by your very own Big Baddy....Team Force will be on top when the final Checkered flag falls and 2003 Champion and ship jumper Tony will flounder as an also ran throughout the season...Hey Tony, good luck with your 14th qualifying spot. I give Big John the nod for Sunday and the big $$$ anyone want to bet against him? Watch out for Selzi he'll be looking for a chunk of that cash on Sunday as well, don't count him out, a tweek here and tweek there teamed up a good R/T and he could be the upset of the day.

What's this Greg Anderson is top qualifier!...Geeze that's a big surprize......and who is that right behind him? Another one of those tuning guy's turned Driver...is there a pattern forming here? Looks like the Jeggy Mail Order House needs to sharpen the pencil up, qualifying even poorer than even I expected. We'll have to wait till Sunday to see if the Professor or Professor Jr. have anything up their sleeves for Greg. I gotta give the Win ticket to Greg even if it is even odds, I'd like to see Jason give him a run for the money but I think he'll struggle breaking the beams with 10,000,000 people watching, be cool Jason it's just you and me buddy.
It looks like Barry Grant is either a no Show or non-qualifyer so far anyhow, anyone know if he's there and how he ran?
