What brand of 440 Headers would suit my 1970 Challenger? I was told this set-up would be fine. TTI or Hooker. 1-7/8" primaries to 3" collector and 2-1/2" pipes for the rest of the system. How does that sound? Also what brand do you prefer? Cheers lads

HEY NZ... I PUT A SET OF TTI (2" PRIMARIES/ 3 1/2" COLLECTORS) CERAMIC ON MY CHARGER R/T A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THEM. THEY FIT LIKE A GLOVE AND WERE PRETTY EASY TO INSTALL. TTI ONLY MAKES HEADERS FOR MOPAR AND THEY TAILOR EACH HEADER TO A SPECIFIC VEHICLE (CHARGER, CHALLENGER, ETC.). I WON'T BUY ANYTHING ELSE. JUST MY OPINION.

I agree TTI is worth the extra $$, & it allows for the use of angle plugs heads down the road if you want to upgrade , the fit is awesome & the quality is too Haven`t I seen you somewhere

Hey NZ440RT.. is your car left hand drive? if it is you may have trouble finding headers for it. on e-bodies the engine is offset and may put a cramp in your style.

Chryco, nice to see another DC.com member! I would give TTI a call and see what they recommend for your car. I know TTI's are by far the best mopar headers out there.

Cool!! Looks like TTI wins hands down! Right TTI for headers, Nowwww, whats the best exhaust system to hook 'em into? ;D So far I've heard.... # Dyno max are loud after 2,500rpm. after 30minutes your def. # Borla are good, fit well but a little quite until higher rpms which is fine. # Flowmaster - too tinny and cheap sounding. None of these have had hp updates as far as horse power gains, so what do you experts think? Chryco: Not sure but you sound familiar ;D ;D ;D Thanks for your input and help lads, much appreiciated!
