I ended up using the distributor in a 68 Barracuda I just bought, It came with a 318, it still had a points ignition, so since I had a leftover MSD 6a, I converted it to electronic ignition. All it cost me was a new coil and electronic voltage regulator, so not too bad. Just need to get Don to delete the rest of this thread now, I already deleted my original ad but the rest of the thread still shows. hmmm, guess I need to contact Don.
