Can anyone tell me how to test my truck for an electrical draw on the battery?
Thanks,

Put your tounge on the + post and clip the ground to your left ear, if your eyes light up and your dick falls off you have a draw....heheheeee

Depends alot on what kind of truck. If it's an older one, (pre FI with out a bunch of electronic stereo stuff) just pull the pos lead, and put a test light between,. If it lights up as brighty as it does going across the battery terminals, you have a draw. The same test won't work with on an fi vehicle. Anything with a bunch of computers will have a full voltage draw all the time. In this type of scenario you need to chech the amps between the battery and the cable end. I think up to .5 amps is ok on a car with a lot of computer stuff. I seem to remember checking FI cars as low as .05 amps, but still a full 12 volts. Hope this helps
